Every Life Size Cut Out Sign is manufactured from 5.5mm Corriboard plastic.

Corriboard is lightweight enough to make a large cutout practical to handle while providing the rigidity required for a full-size printed display.

Your photograph is printed in high-quality colour and the board is then digitally cut around the subject to create the finished life-size outline.

The combination of rigid material and photographic-quality printing makes these cutouts ideal for temporary event displays, photo opportunities and special occasions.

The Quality of Your Photograph Is Important

The quality of the finished Life Size Cut Out Sign depends heavily on the quality of the image supplied.

For the best result, please provide a high-resolution full-body photograph at 300dpi or higher wherever possible.

The photograph should show the entire person clearly from head to toe.

For best results, the person should be:

• Facing the camera
• Standing reasonably straight
• Fully visible from head to toe
• In good lighting
• Clearly separated from the background
• Not heavily blurred or pixelated
• Not cropped at the head, hands, feet or other important areas

A photograph taken face-on and square to the camera will generally produce the strongest result.

Images downloaded from social media, screenshots or heavily compressed photographs may not contain enough detail for a large-format life-size print.

If the photograph supplied is not suitable for enlargement, we may be unable to proceed to print until a better-quality image is provided.

Once your order has been placed, please forward the required information and artwork to Adva Sign.

Please make sure you send the highest-quality original image available rather than a screenshot or social-media copy.

Where the supplied photograph is unsuitable for enlargement or has important parts of the person cropped out, we may need to request a replacement image before production can continue.

Carefully Prepared from Your Photograph

Before production, your supplied photograph has to be prepared for large-format printing and contour cutting.

This includes isolating the person from the background and preparing the outline used to cut the 5.5mm Corriboard to shape.
